Thank you for your interest in the Old Surrey Road and Massy-Greene Drive Upgrade project, including Mount Street
The Australian and Tasmanian Governments have committed $20m to deliver freight efficiency improvements to Old Surrey Road/Massy-Greene Drive upgrades (Burnie Truck Route). Upgrade works to Mount Street will also be undertaken as part of this project to improve local traffic and pedestrian safety.
Your feedback on the proposed upgrades will assist the Department to develop proposals that meet these objectives, taking into account issues, ideas and concerns from residents, businesses and road users.
The map includes information markers for all of the planned location-specific projects. In addition, the project will include general maintenance works including signage, roadside barriers, and vegetation clearing, which are not marked on the map. We would also like to hear your thoughts about 'active transport' options (pedestrian/cycle paths and e-scooters) to help inform future strategies and decisions. There are three active transport markers on the map where you can leave feedback.
This project will be open for public consultation from 16 October to 10 November.
There are two ways to leave a comment:
You can zoom in and out by scrolling with your mouse or by using the '+' and '-' buttons in the top right corner of the map.
Note that all lines and markers on the consultation maps are approximate and not to scale, and should be viewed as a general guide.
By leaving feedback you are agreeing to personal information including your email address being stored with the data for analysis purposes only. This helps us to understand how many people share the same ideas or concerns and gives us a clear picture of the strength of community sentiment. Your email address will not be visible to any other users of the site, and it will not be published with the findings.
